Andy Sorenson’s rock influenced piano and vocal style, show off 14 tracks which blend electronic and acoustic elements to create a style which one English fan has labeled "Impressionistic Pop Fusion"

Supernature sees a musical cast of thousands gather together to explore a soulful lyrical landscape. Stylistically the recording seamlessly floats between pop, funk, ballads, ambient electronic spaces and there may even be the odd trace of prog rock in the shadows there somewhere.

Musicians appearing include Andrew Gander, David Carr, Phil Butson, Adam Lester, David Holmes, Randall Waller Bill Kezelos, Rex Goh, Jay McNeill and Andrew Naylor to name a few!

Fully intended to be a studio album, the heavily featured string arrangements round out a large sounding mix, which leaves a collection of beautifully crafted songs intended to “encourage and lift” the listener.

Andy has spent close to five years putting this album together in breaks between production work with many Australian artists and bands, whilst at the same time developing the creative production house POPWorks.

“I’m really looking forward to getting out and playing some songs in 2006, it will be great fun…..

Supernature has been a chance for me to have the space to make a real album! I wanted it to be based around piano and strings and larger sonic soundscapes than the earlier record, the emphasis here was on expression, I guess.

Aldous Huxley really sums it up perfectly when he says, ”After silence that which comes nearest to expressing the inexpressible is music” that’s really where it is at for me as a listener. Music has a unique ability to be able bypass the brain and get straight into your quiet secret places. Right to your soul.

It is my hope that you are encouraged and lifted by this music."
